PhD in Biological Sciences, with a specialization in Botany, University of Concepción. He is a professor and researcher in the Faculty of Forestry Sciences in the University of Concepción. He works the line of research “Applied Semio-Chemistry”. Fundamentally he focuses in understanding the biotic relations mediated by chemical compounds between invasive fabaceae and native plants. So, he contributes to provide relevant information for programs of invasive management and native plants. Also, submits said chemical compounds to study models oriented to the formulation of biopesticide products. Currently, he heads the Iberoamerican Invasive Fabaceae Network.
