Engineer in Natural Resources Conservation from the University of Concepción. She started at the Biological Invasions Laboratory in 2017, supporting the scientific dissemination team Naturaleza Intrusa. Later, she wrote her thesis in 2021, linked to the research of the policy and management of invasive exotic plant species. She is currently a candidate for a Master’s degree in Forestry Sciences at the University of Concepción, following the same line of research with the thesis called “Analysis of the governance and institutional systems that regulate the prevention and management of invasive plant species”. In this project, an analysis of various countries and regions is carried out, around the policy of prevention and management of invasive plant species, considering their social, economic and ecological contexts, in order to propose possible improvements to the Chilean system.
