Martín Núñez, PhD
International Collaborator
PhD in Agroecology. Her research focuses in a better understanding of the abiotic and biotic variables in the invasion potential of non native plant population, and developed efficient approaches to priorize the management in a local scale. Her work develops in natural systems, seminatural and agricultural. Recently, she has studied populations through elevation gradients in the range and in wild environments, as well as wheat systems in dry lands. Most of her investigation is made at a local scale (population), and landscaping, but in collaboration with MIREN (Mountain Invasion Research Network), they have been able to evaluate the effect of multiple scales (local, landscaping and regional) in the invasion patterns, and the relation with environmental and biotic variables. Since 2012, she’s co-chairperson of MIREN.
