Steffi Heinrichs, PhD
International Collaborator
PhD in Biology, University of Göttingen, Germany. Her research centres in the impact of antropogenic and natural perturbations in vegetation, and in the long-term dynamics of vegetation in abiotic changing conditions and in the regimes of management in the tempered forests. In collaboration with LIB, she investigates the underwoods of forests plantations and the fragments of natural forests in the centre-south of Chile, focusing in the impact of exotic species in the native biodiversity, as in the conservation aspects.
Currently, she’s postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Forestry and Forest’s Ecology of the Tempered Zones, University of Göttingen, in a project of knowledge transference wich aims to carry scietific results about forest management and biodiversity to the forest practice.
